Happy New Year – and hello 2022!
What a year 2021 turned out to be. It was certainly a strange and challenging one, with Covid continuing to affect all of our lives and putting many plans on hold. We started the year in lockdown, not long after opening our doors, which was incredibly tough. But despite everything, 2021 was also our very first year in business and the year we were able to open our sewing studio and begin hosting workshops. For that, I am truly very grateful.
I just want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers and supporters. ❤️ Whether you popped into the shop, ordered online, attended a workshop, shared a post, or simply told a friend about Sewcialising – it all means so much. Every bit of support has helped us get to where we are today, and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.
So, what does 2022 have in store for Sewcialising?
I’ve got some exciting plans for the business ahead, which I’m not quite ready to reveal just yet (I like to keep things a surprise!), but I can promise there is plenty to look forward to. We’ll be hosting more workshops, introducing new creative sessions, and bringing in lots of beautiful new stock over the coming months.
I truly hope you are enjoying having Sewcialising as part of York’s creative community. My aim is to continue growing the business and to offer something special for both local residents and visitors to the city – a welcoming space for creativity, learning, and inspiration!
If you ever have any questions at all, whether it’s about a workshop you’d like to attend, a new craft you want to try, a specific item you’re looking for, or anything else we might be able to help with – please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’ll always do my best to help wherever I can.
Wishing you all the very best for the year ahead!
Kindest regards,
Kathy
