We’ve all been waiting for the announcement this evening, and I’m so pleased to finally have a date for when we can reopen the fabric shop in York!
I honestly can’t wait for a bit of normality to return, especially for my children to go back to school. This lockdown has been incredibly full-on, juggling homeschooling two little ones aged 5 and 6 alongside running and preparing for the shop launch. It’s been stressful at times, but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Hopefully, as the vaccination programme continues, we’ll all be able to move forward slowly but surely and start rebuilding some sense of everyday life again.
I’ve been really desperate to get some sewing done myself, but lately there just hasn’t been the time. Most of my focus has been on getting our Sewing Studio ready so that we can eventually open it up to the public. It may still be a little while before group workshops are allowed again, but there is hope and when the time comes, we’ll be ready to welcome you in!
For now, I’m just looking forward to the simple things, even a day at the beach sounds amazing right now!
And once the boys are back at school, I know I’ll finally have a bit more time to catch up on everything I’ve been putting off. There’s a long list waiting for me!
